Quick Meal on a Weeknight in Pasadena
I am looking for simple neighborhood restaurants to go to in Pasadena for a quick week night meal. A place I can go if I dont feel like cooking that night.Any suggestions? I usually prefer healthy, med cooking, but I am really open to suggestions!
thank you!

Try Sahara on Colorado Blvd. The appetizers are great, especially the kubideh and sarma. The lentil soup is simple and satisfying. The kabobs are grilled to order over wood/charcoal flames and served with a generous portion of rice pilaf, grilled pepper, tomato and plenty of pita bread. Family run and very reasonable prices.

My go-to for the nights I don't feel like cooking is Saladang, but that's Thai. It's amazing, affordable and if you get really lazy - they do take-out which is awesome. I think that old town is kind of a hassle because of parking.
Gale's (across the street from Saladang) is easy as well. I wouldn't exactly call it healthy - but it's italian. Stay away from the risotto, not really their specialty.
Great risotto at La Maschera a little further north on Fair Oaks. It's pricey but delicious!
