Where can I get big platter of pasta (italian) or noodles (asian) that could feed 10 ppl from a restaurant in Pasadena? I was thinking of Buca di Beppo. Any other suggestions?
Porto Via- on the north side of California Blvd., just east of Fair Oaks. Not inexpensive, but good.
Also Claro's does catering trays, etc.http://store.claros.com/page.htm?pg=C...
In addition to what's been listed, for pasta, you might try Dominico's or Maria's Italian Kitchen in Pasadena or Cafe 322 in Sierra Madre. For Asian noodles, Yang Chow or Panda Inn (not Express). Maybe Saladang as well.
Scarantino's (formerly Dino's) has to go for parties of people and their Napoli sauce is great! Their spaghetti with sausage and napoli sauce is my favorite!
Call Villa Sorriso and see if they'll accommodate you to take out... I know they do banquet offerings.
For Asian style, Saigon Noodle and Noodle World.
I know it's very Americanized, but Pei Wei is an option for asian noodles.
I think Tarantino's might fit your needs-I remember seeing something on the menu for party dishes. Their pasta is mighty hearty! It's a small place on Green Street and Hudson.
