Baby Shower Brunch Location

Does anyone have any ideas for a baby shower location in the MD/DC area? I don't live around there, but my sister who I'm throwing the shower for does. She lives in Bowie.

I'm looking for a restaurant with great food where I can rent a private room. We'll have about 30 guests. I'm looking for unique (but not too expensive) ideas. Something that's classy, yet quaint. Any help? Thanks!

I've seen Teaism in Penn Quarter recommended a lot for this kind of thing. It's different with good prices.

I really, really didn't like the brunch when I went there about a year ago. It just was....wrong and bad. But that's just me. I've heard a lot of people like it.

The perfect place for you is at The Tabard Inn in Dupont Circle. The brunch is good and they have a few different rooms you can rent out for private parties. Its perfect for any season, in the winter/fall its cozy and in the spring/summertime you can rent out the outside courtyard which is one of the most charming spots in town. Moderatly priced.

Other places to consider would be Bistro Bis which has one of my favorite brunches in DC. I'm pretty sure they have a private room. They have a 3-course brunch special for around $30/person (possibly cheaper).

For something totally different you can check out Cafe Atlantico's Nuevo Latin "dim sum"/small plates brunch. They don't have a private room I don't think but the very top floor area can probably fit 30 people.

Finally I'm not sure if they are open for brunch but if you want a Saturday or Sunday lunch you can check out Bistro D'Oc for excellent french bistro cuisine. I've seen the upstairs room rented out for private parties. The food is great and the restaurant is cozy and cute.
