Dinner for 60 in Raleigh

OrganicGal Dec 4, 2007 07:12 AM

I'm helping to plan a dinner for approximately 60-80 people in Raleigh or Cary in January. We're looking for a place that would have a banquet room that could hold that many people, that's primarily a steak and seafood place. We went to Prime Only last January, and want to branch out. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help!

If you want steak that limits your options, but I think Cafe Luna in downtown Raleigh could give you a room for that many people.

Just so you don't limit your options. Almost any restaurant will rent the entire space for a large group. Most would prefer to do it on slower nights, Mon-Thurs, but some will make exceptions for the right price. Find a place you like and contact a manager or event coordinator about a buyout if the space is intimate(less than 100 capacity).

The Pit which took over Nana's is huge. Also consider Red Palace....no steak, but seafood and hot pots galore.
