New Years Eve in Stamford Ct. Help wanted

40 something looking for a fun night out with my wife for New Years Eve. I was thinking of Market restaurant. Any suggestions for a fun night out. Nothing to formal.

    Does the email say what the dishes and the wine pairings are? I tried to call but thety are closed today.

      Unfortunately, it doesn't. It just says they'll be serving the chef's newest creations. They're open tomorrow - so definitely give them a buzz. The staff is incredibly friendly.

      Columbus Park is very nice and then maybe Grand for a drink

        Hmmm....not sure why my other posts got deleted. I got an email from Schoolhouse in Wilton over the wknd - they're doing a 7 course dinner with wine pairing & champagne toast for NY's. Tickets are $185. If I didn't already have plans - I'd do this in a second.

            We've been to Market twice and loved it. I posted a while back in depth about it, but got no response. Food is very good, nice variety, fun atmosphere.

                It is similar to Match but the food and presentations are much more refined and clean. Match has a tendency to pile on the ingredients. The menu is also smaller at Market.
