Tres leches Cake?

Does anyone know where I can order a Tres Leches Cake. I am in Bowie, work in DC and the party is in Charles County. It is the one thing I can't find for my husbands party.

  1. Have you investigated the Latino markets and bakeries in your area? They usually are the best bet to find Tres Leches cake.

    1. Pepito's on Columbia road in adams morgan (across from the safeway) has a tres leches cake, you can buy a slice to sample then order whatever size you like for the event-they always have it. I think Hellers in Mt pleasant will do one special order.

Heller's in Mount Pleasant also does a tres leches, though I've never tried it:

      2. La Flor de Puebla Bakery, 6300 Kenilworth Avenue, Riverdale, MD, 301-699-8657

WONDERFUL Tres Leches cakes (and much more). Bonus - they are open 24 HOURS/day seven days a week! A good place for a heavenly dessert at 3:30am on a weeknight :- )

        1. The following is a link to a 2006 article in the Washington Post that lists some area latin bakeries. I recently bought a tres leches at an unmentioned bakery near me and was quite happy with it.

          1. The Orinoco Coffee House has really good, authentic Tres Leches Cake. I don't know how much it costs, and typically it is served by the slice, but if you want an entire cake they will make it for you. They are located close to Snowden River and Rt 175.
