looking for sushi chef Sesumi

once upon a time there was an excellent sushi/japanese chef on teh upper east side.. i followed him through 3 or 4 restaurants until he opened his own, Sesumi, on 2nd ave and 85th/86th street. he closed the place a few years ago, to go to peru (i assume following the Nobu trail lol) and said he would be back in a year or so, and would contact all the customers on his email list. fast forward 4 or 5 years and i never heard from him. Just wondering if anyone knows what happened to him and where he might be located now. I know its a long shot.... but i trust my hounds...

  1. Did you ever hear anything from or about Mr. Sesumi? I lived around the corner and was a frequent customer.
