How do I turn cake into mini loaves?

Today, I am testing my holiday baking recipes and would like to make Paula Deen's gooey pumpkin cake and turn it into mini-loaves. Do I need to alter the recipe? The cake's bake time is 50 minutes. How long should my mini loaves take?

Thanks!

Thanks for all the feedback. They were done in about 20 minutes and everyone's favorite thing I made.

Since we have a small household, I tend to convert all my cake recipes for use in mini cake pans or muffin pans as well. In my experience, you don't need to alter the recipe, just bake less.

Generally, I found that cakes bake between 10-20 minutes, depending on how small the pans are. I've never made the gooey pumpkin cake, but I imagine you would want to start checking the cake around 8-10 minutes for doneness. I suspect they'll be done in about 15-20 min, but like I said, I've never made that recipe before. Good luck.

Just watch them, after maybe 30 minutes, check them, rotate and continue baking until they bounce back when touched.
If your loaf pans are really miniature, check at 20 min.

But be careful as I've found her gooey cakes can over-bake rather quickly. There's a fine line between gooey and cooked and I would imagine it would be easy to cross when reducing to mini loaf pan size.
