Best Pizza with cracker-type crust?

OK- I love pizza with that cracker like, crispy, kinda burnt crust. I've only had it at two places - Barnabys (I know there is one in Niles and Schaumburg) and Vito and Nicks ( South Side on 95th street - the Joliet and Lemont versions are a bit lacking).

Does anyone know of any other places that make pizza like this? I'm in the close western suburbs, but I travel all over the place in the city and burbs, so location is irrelevant.

Do not complain if you do not specifically order "very thin and crispy" crust. They have been kinda tampering with the crust. Never needed to order it specifically this way in years past, but if you order it like this, you'll get the goods.

You might wanna try Geppetos in Oak Park. Again, you have to specifically ask for a "very thin and crispy crust." That's another place that used to do it right, and now is hit or miss unless you ask them specifically for it.

    1. i crave thin crust pizza--hard to find out here on the east coast. having grown up in the chicago area, i loved barnaby's (northfield or northbrook), but also liked Tonelli's on Waukegan Rd. in Glenview...that was 20 years ago or so.

I have to second the vote for Tonelli's on Waukegan Rd in Northbrook??) It has the best tasting sausage, ever. And the green peppers are fresh not like the ones used on an italian beef sandwich. As far as Chicago goes, Bricks on Lincoln Ave. in Lincoln Park area has a good pizza and has nightly specials.

Boni Vino's on Van Buren & clark in the Loop. I liked the BBQ Chicken personally

        1. Bertoli's Pizza on Lake Street/Thatcher in River Forest is your answer. Request it to be Crispy and it will be very good and very thin.
