Restaurant Recommendations for Visitor to Seattle?

My husband and I are visiting Seattle the end of December....and have booked reservations at two restaurants - Restaurant Zoe and Purple Cafe and Wine Bar (both looked interesting on Opentable). Any feedback on either? Or is there somewhere else we must go? Staying at Warwick on Lenore St. Thanks!

Opentable.com is not the place to look for the best restaurants in Seattle.

Purple's a pretty space but underwhelming food.

There are many better restaurants quite close to the Warwick; most notably, Tom Douglas' places are all close by and worth a visit. (Palace Kitchen, Lola, Serious Pie, Dahlia Lounge)

I agree with the posters above on Purple. I think the food was good, but I didn't like the ambiance, and despite having reservations and 1/3 of the restaurant open, it took over 12 minutes to get seated. There are other great places.

I like Zoe. Two others that aren't listed above are Cafe Campagne and Steelhead Diner. Both can be $$$ but also offer less expensive options.

OpenTable is a great option for making the reservations. I appreciate the open time availability feature.

Hmmm...Purple is nice enough, though I don't really get why it's so booked all the time. I'd recommend Palace Kitchen, Brasa, Matt's in the Market, or Txori (brand new tapas place on 2nd and Blanchard).
