Burger Hut in Raleigh?

Guilty Gourmand Nov 29, 2007 01:44 PM

Anybody familiar with the Burger Hut on Morgan Street in Raleigh--sort of between Irrerardless and Moonlight behind Central Prison? Their sign advertises old fashion hamburgers and shakes but I've never heard anybody say anything about it and was wondering if it was worth investigating. Thanks.

It has been about a year since I ate there--they're open when I'm at work in D'ham, so I never seem to make it there for lunch. But, if I recall I had a great burger & fries and the woman working there was very friendly. I say give it a go

The family are from Iraq, some of the nicest folks you'll ever meet. Go for breakfast, order home fries, Ahmad might start by cubing up a potato, then dicing up a green pepper etc. i.e. everything is fresh. The place is a favorite of many friends, justifiably so.
