Bice?

Am finding myself and hubby downtown for about 4 or so hours on an upcoming Saturday night (driving kids to a concert- don't ask) and since we don't get down much wanted to take advantage. 4 hours is alot for just dinner so am thinking dinner and a movie- narrowed it down by virtue of location to Bice, near one of the big theaters. Other places nearby but probably not able to eat and still get to a show.

Anyone been lately?

Hey good for you! That's great that you're driving your kids to a concert. They will never forget it!
I've been to Bice several times over the last 3-4 years but not by choice. I think it's a bit overrated and touristy. I would pick Coco Pazzo, Cafe Spiaggia, or Quartino over Bice.

I haven't been there lately, sorry.

If you're looking for another Italian place in the immediate vicinity, you might consider Coco Pazzo Cafe. www.cocopazzocafe.com

After searching around a little more I've switched from Bice to Coco Pazzo Cafe. Seems slightly more, ....modern? is that what I mean? Anyway, I've heard about Bice for years and am sorry will miss it this time around, but so many choices, so few opportunities!

My wife and I had some very mediocre food at Bice. You're not missing anything.

Skip Bice, it's over rated. I'd check out Cafe Spiaggia or Coco Pazzo.
