New Yasmin Bakery
I heard that the New Yasmin Bakery on Warren has a website. Does anyone know anything about this? I live like 300 miles North of it and was told they would mail food. So if that is the case I need to get the website address and start ordering. My source does not go down as much anymore. Please someone HELP.

Please avoid the New Yasmin Bakery ( the New was added last few years) if you can. They rip you off. They sell one small avrg cookie which you can buy a dozen for 99 cents for 1 dollar each. They are taking advantagee of their repution by charging astrnomical prices. If you go to theie store , their deli items are not labeled like you see in at Mejrs or whoole foods or any reputable place. If you have 5 dollars in your pockt you would not know if it is enough for anything. One day the item is for $5.99 a pound , few hours later the same will cost $7.99 and this is for simple beans. None of it is organic. These greedy merchants should be avoided.
If you like sweets , go to Shatila on warren ave in Dearborn . Their store is a pleasure to be in and the prices are more than reasanble for the amount of work and artistry that goes in it. Unforntunetly they do not sell cooked food, only sweets. -

I have never tried their website, because I am lucky enough to live close to the bakery itself. It is fabulous. Their webiste is http://www.yasmeenbakery.com/ . I would recommend you call and order that way, because the e-commerse site says it is an independent company. Their site says, "Place your order by phone 313 582-6035 Mondays and Tuesdays." That way, you may be able to have them throw in a tray of baklava (although I don't think they don't make it themselves, it is some of the best around!).
