Dinner around Dupont Circle

I will be at Dupont Circle tonight to see Paula Dean. Anyone have any suggestions on a good place to eat?

  1. Not sure what you are looking for - I always enjoy Mark and Orlando's (good and you can pick upstairs or downstairs depending on your mood). Tabard Inn and Pesce are good as well. On the high end, there's always Nora and Obelisk.

I 2nd Mark and Orlandos. If you are in the mood for some tasty seafood you can check out Hank's Oyster Bar.

For a menu with a little something for everyone you can try the new Hudson's.

Tabard Inn is also a nice suggestion on a colder day like today.

And for good sushi in a casual setting I suggest Sakana on P St.

Btw, where is Paula Dean going to be?

OMG - Paula Dean was at the MALL OF AMERICA in Bloomington, Minnesota yesterday - NOT the National Mall in DC.

At any rate, I hope Ace had a nice meal in DC...

    2. I guess you are from Baltimore... If you are not satisfied with your pizza selections up there, you might want to try an Atomica at Pizzeria Paradiso (P St west of the Circle). World Class. Or if you are looking for some unique Indian "street food' then I suggest ordering the patra, chaat pari, and the gobi masalam at Heritage India ( Connecticut south of Dupont Circle). Or just go on down to Singapore Bistro (19th below M) and choose one of their simple but very satisfying noodle and bean sprout dishes.
