Any suggestions? Google yields a plethora of websites for slow cooker recipes? Any sites in particular that you like?

      Hey Buttertartz,

I like Crockery Cookery by Mable Hoffman. As for sites Rival has their own Crock-Pot website, you can sign up for their weekly recipe newsletter. www.crock-pot.com

From your question I gather that you want a recommendation for a website, right? Not a real cookbook. In that case, just go to your favorite site, be it Good Housekeeping or Epi, and search under appliance type.

As far as the books go I had an old slow cooker book that I thought wasn't "good" enough, so I went to Half Price Books, and bought two newer ones. I just sat on the floor and skimmed them looking for recipes that fit what my family would eat. When I got home, I realized that I already had one of them! It was my old book that wasn't "good enough, by Mabel Hoffman! It just had a new cover and a few new recipes! Good, pretty basic food. The other one I got was the Better Homes & Garden "Biggest Book of Slow Cooker recipes". It is a little more gourmet than Mabel's is.
