Layonna Vegetarian / other options?

  • 3

Hi, Has anyone been to this place? It is a Vegetarian / Vegan chinese restaurant at Clement and 19th.

I found one entry on a vegetarian website that said it had closed as of November 2007 but there are reviews in Yelp on the place well into the month so i'm thinking the vege website is wrong. I called them but no one is picking up the phone...i'm going to keep trying.

I am looking for good Vege / Vegan food for a party of about 8 for tomorrow night. I'd rather not have to make reservation as i'm not sure of the total # of people that are going to show up.

Anybody have any input / advice / info on Layonna???

thanks

nancy

  1. I don't know if Layonna is closed or not, but Bok Choy Garden (also Chinese vegetarian) right across the street from it has a lot of fans.

    1. Shangri-la on Irving is also popular. Here's the list of Chinese vegetarian spots in the Places database, mostly in the City.

      1. Sadly, it has closed. The new place is some shabu shabu meat place. There is a chinese veggie place across the street called Bok Choy Garden which is ok. Also the chinese veggie place on Clement next to the Goodwill is good, they had a name change, I think they are now Golden Buddha but the menu looks the same.
