Nice Dinner in DFW

My wife and I are planning a special dinner for us and I wanted to get suggestions.

We have been to Abacus multiple times...we have been to Fearings, Nana, Al Biernats, Stephen Pyels

Some places we havent tried are Local, Bijoux, Lola Tasting Room. Can someone give me opinions on these or other places we might not have looked at but should have.

  1. Like youm I have dined at all of those restaurants and IMHO, don't miss Bijoux. Gina and her husband Scott have really done an amazing job.

You might want to consider The Mansion at Turtle Creek, Nick and Sam's, and York St.

I second York St. I don't think I've ever read a bad word about this place.

    2. Both Lola and the Tasting Room at Lola are fabulous. They have a website where you can check out recent menus - It's also one of the best deals in town pricewise.

Kitchen 1924 in Lakewood is a good choice, as well. The place is fun and funky and I've never had a bad experience there.

      2. You might want to add Craft to the list as well--I've eaten there twice and both times were excellent. A bit pricey, but not against the other places you mentioned. I think they've got some of the best meat and fish in Dallas.
