Saratoga Springs - Nice restaurant for New Years Eve?

Hi, my husband and I are going to be in Saratoga Springs for New Years Eve. We are looking for a nice restaurant to make dinner reservations. We are staying at an Inn outside of town, but would like a restaurant that is in the center so that we can hang around and go to bars afterwards. Any suggestions?

  1. Call either Mouzon House or One Caroline Bistro and ask which one will have Sarah Pedinotti's band playing on New Year's even. They're both owned by her parents and whichever one has her performing will have the best New Year's Eve in town.

    One Caroline Street Bistro
1 Caroline Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

    Mouzon House
1 York Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

    1. Although you can't make reservations, Chianti has great food, you will have to wait but the bar is also fun. There are some new restaurants on Beekman St that have been rated well for the fresh pasta etc. I like the smaller places but I would not recommend One Caroline as I find it hit or miss. Try the Wine Bar, right on Broadway and you couldn't get more central. Fireworks at Midnight too and there is a first night thing happening all over the city, I think.

I agree that One Caroline can be hit or miss (most places are just "miss"), and increasingly overpriced, but New Year's Eve is different. Chianti will be a two-hour wait on New Year's Eve.
