Private Party Rooms - Bergen County NJ

Looking for a place to hold a Rehersal Dinner on a Friday night and need a restaurant that has a private room to hold about 50 people. It is tough finding a place on a Friday night that will close off space unless it is a private room. Thanks!

Dinallo's Restaurant in River Edge, just off State Highway Route 4 East on the Hackensack border has a private dining area that can accomodate a party of 50. You can also consider their Sister Restaurant, The Stony Hill Inn in Hackensack on Polify Road at the intersections of Interstate Route 80 and State Highway Route 17. They have great steaks and pounded veal dishes.

Dolce Novita in Moonachie has a private room that will seat almost 100 and theie prices are reasonable. Ask for Mike or Richie they are the owners and are very accomodating.
ALSO...Vivo in Lyndhurst has a private room that will hold 50 easy...see BIG LOU!

Not sure what month you are thinking b/c that could make things more difficult but I do know that Bazzini at 28 Oak in Ridgewood will reserve the restaurant completely or either one of their two rooms for private parties depending upon the menu choice and time of year - you might want to try them. I'm a fan and have had dinner there as well as attended two parties - a bridal shower and an engagement party - both were excellent

Villa Amalfi in Ft. Lee (or maybe it is Cliffside Park there) has private rooms upstairs. I don't know how many they hold, but you can give them a call. Nice, sedate Northern Italian food.

Does it have to be in Bergen County? If you're willing to go over to Passaic, Francesco's in West Paterson is a great choice with wonderful food.

The Park in Park Ridge, NJ is great. Less expensive but really great Italian food and service is Vitale's in Teaneck (we go there every Mother's day with about 30 people) and for your crowd you would have the whole room. Talk to Felicia - one of the owners. for a BYO place, Di Palma's in North Bergen (on the Hudson/Bergen County line) is great, too.

If yer crowd is into Indian, Mantra on rt. 4 was really decent and they have a back room that looks to seat around 30 (all at one really cool table)
