Cupcakes in Alabama?

Any one know a decent cupcake bakery who will deliver to Alabama? The sites I've found for cupcake bakeries in the South (mostly Atlanta-based) either have defunct email addresses or local delivery only. Found one "independent" shop in Alabama whose website wasn't working, natch.

Looking for one that might have a cute set for baby boy-themed cupcakes. Trying to order online.

Thanks for any suggestions!!

Sadly, the cupcake phenomena that grips NYC & LA has not filtered down to Alabama yet.

Alabama is a big state- want to be more specific about where in Alabama you are looking? Although there are not entire trendoid industries built around cupcakes like Magnolia Street Bakery in NYC, you can still find bakeries that make cupcakes.

Intrigued by the topic, I looked up all the good bakeries in Birmingham (Klingers, Marsh, Savages) and can't find one that offers DELIVERED cupcakes. In fact, the websites I did find, didn't even offer cupcakes as an option. An independent caterer may be wahine88's best option.

          http://www.edgarsbakery.com/

Check Edgars, they have a few locations, and they deilver in the Birmingham Area. I took the liberty of calling up and they do make cupcakes.

I have had the regular cakes from there, and they are really good.

          Hope this helps.
