Culinary Getaway in Ontario?

I am looking for a cooking holiday/getaway somewhere in the province or adjoining regions. Can anyone make a recommendation?
If possible, a cooking school with onsite accommodation would be great!
Thank much!

  1. Check out the Niagara (Ontario) region. There are a couple of very good cooking schools - one is The Good Earth and the other is at Strewn Winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake. They are both in the heart of the Niagara wine region, so there is lots to explore and taste, such as theatre - The Shaw Festival - and many wineries, restaurants and the countryside. Neither Good Earth or Strewn have accommodations on-site, as far as I know, but there are many terrific inns, B&Bs, hotels, cottages for rent in the area.

    1. Treadwell Farm to Table Cuisine in St Catharines offers cooking school classes and "overnight packages" ....

61 Lakeport Road, St. Catharines, ON L2N 4P6, CA

      1. I think the Waring House in Prince Edward County offers a cooking school getaway. That would be my choice over Niagara.

        1. The Waring House Inn looks fabulous. Cooking school with onsite accommodation --

Back in the Niagara area, there's also the Wine Country Cooking School, which offers culinary weekend packages including accommodation at one of the boutique hotels in NOTL..

And there's The Little Inn of Bayfield, which offers cooking classes and onsite accommodation -

          Waring House

          Wine Country Cooking School
          1339 Lakeshore Rd, Niagara-ON-the-Lake, ON L0S, CA

          The Little Inn
Main St N, Bluewater, ON N0M, CA
