Not aware of any in PC, and not familiar with restaurants in Stamford. However, there is Latin American Cafe in White Plains.

There's no cuban in Stamford or Port Chester, I'm afraid. LAC in White Plains seems to be the closest. I've never tried it. In stamford, closest you can get is dominican, which isn't really all that close cuisine wise anyhow... Westjanie - how is it LAC in white plains? Do they have good cubanos?

If I ever had a Cubano there it would have been many years ago, and I have no memory of it. Otherwise, the food compares favorably with my experiences in the Miami area. Through the years (they've been around for quite some time now) the prices have crept up somewhat (so have everyone else's, of course)but are still very reasonable. During the past couple of years they have started featuring some "Canary Islands style" dishes on their specials.

Went last spring and agree the food was comparable to Miami's. Ropa Vieja was excellent, Pan con Bistec sandwich also. Congri - which you have to ask for as in Versailles in Miami - was tasty and the papa rellenas were delicious. They don't have picadillo on the menu - one of my favorites - but will have to ask if they serve it as a special. Mmmm, maybe need to make a trip again soon.
