Good wings in Phoenix?

Hi there,

I am looking for places that serve great wings in the Phoenix area. Something similar to 'The Vine Tavern', if you are familiar with that place. Any and all recs would be appreciated.

I like the wings at Four Peaks. Large and nicely crisped. The thai flavor is excellent -- a hot/sweet red curry. Goes very well with a cask-conditioned ale.

I've never found anyplace better for wings than Pullano's on the n.w. corner of Thunderbird and 51st.ave. The Best!!

Jt's 50th street and Indian School they are the best I've had you can blink and miss the place it's across form the german restuarant.

We've found that the Vine wings have become very anorexic and we pretty much won't go there anymore. We prefer the wings at Teakwoods Tavern and Grill. Very meaty and good flavor!! They have great beer on tap and the rest of their food is very good as well. They always have some good specials going on and we've never had a bad meal there.

Try Native New Yorker...but the Scottsdale location hasn't been as good as the west side locations. I agree with the Uncle Sams rec.....consistently good wings and the coldest pitchers of beer you've ever had. AZ88 at the Scottsdale Civic Center has great wings, but it's more of a hip bar and not a sports bar at all. Finally, give Zipps a try. Good wings and a great sports bar setting.

Get the Golden Wings @ Zipps....they add a little honey to the sauce and have a nice crispy finish. They are meaty and juicy.
The only problem is Zipps tends to skimp on the ranch and blue cheese ...if you order extra they charge...

Love the Golden Wings, but their "charge extra for everything" policy is maddening. I swear that we walk out of there with $5 in blue cheese charges every time we eat there.

Zipps is great, but be careful. Even the medium wings are really hot, and the waitresses will try and talk you out of ordering the hot wings.

I've always liked the wings at Long Wong's and Barro's Pizza. Both have spots scattered around town.
