South End Restaurant

Two foodies from NYC are looking for a mid-priced restaurant with great wine on Harrison Street or vicinity. Any suggestions?

Just had brunch at Gaslight this morning for the first time. Croque Monsieur was very good, as was my husband's Cubano. As noted on the board, fries are very similar to McDonald's, oddly enough, but a tiny bit thinner and drier. Decent, but not amazing. Service was very good, and the space is really nice. There is also a parking lot next to the restaurant! A real plus for the South End. We'll definitely be back.

The wine list looks great, too, with a decent number by the glass, and a wide price range.

Union Bar and Grill is also in the area, and would be another good choice.

    Have a great trip!
