No 9 Park report -- short

Had a wonderful meal at no 9 park. We passed on the tasting menu and did a 3 course.
The prune gnocchi was good, but I had the Fois Gras. I love love loved it. I had duck 2 ways....i was scared that asian flavors would be over the top soy cloying, but thankfully, the server talked me into it. Nice filet of breast complimented some salty confit. Just beautiful. Wife had monkfish which was good also. We had dessert and dessert wine, but too full for cheese course which looked interesting. Btw, even tho we were not doing a tasting menu, the server set us up with pairings for every dish. Really nice touch since we ordered such different things from each other. Meal was maybe $100 person w wine and tip.

Food:A Service:A Atmosphere:B Value:B+ maybe even A-

Thanks for posting on your 3 course. I've always enjoyed the tasting menu, but never noticed a 3 course option. Is this on the menu? For lunch, dinner, or both?

It was dinner. I'm pretty sure that it was cheaper than it should have been ala carte, but not 100% sure. Just ask when you make your res or when you arrive.
