Paris restaurants [split from UK board]
I was more active my second time around, too. I'm sure you'll both be fine! I feel the same about Paris and just booked us a trip there for Valentine's Day. Now to find the perfect restaurant from my long, long list of new names... and the old favorites. Life's too short!

My two favorites:
Le Florimond - in the 7th at 19, avenue de la Motte-Picquet - try the Chou Farci (cabbage rolls) as they are to die for!
Le Reminet-in the 5th at 3, rue des Grands-Degres - Have had greta foie gras
I "discovered" this place last trip: Le Petite Hostellerie in the 5th at 35, rue de la Harpe - I had the best shepard's pie made with duck confit with a slab of foie gras on top. Yum!!
Enjoy your trip and thanks for the help on mine.

re: JonH
Thanks for the tips, Jon. Last time we were in Paris, a meal at L'Epi Dupin was very good. I was disappointed with a return to one of my all-time favorites, Rotisserie D'en Face. I'd been going there for at least 15 years but this last visit wasn't great. We might have just hit a bad night. I also enjoyed Le Temps Perdu in the 7th - what a town for eating!!
