Any Recs for an amazing Christmas Dinner?

Hi there,

This year instead of presents, my girlfriend and I want to go to an amazing dinner somewhere. We were thinking of someplace that has a special christmas dinner, or barring that someplace that's going to be a treat. Can anyone reccommend a restaurant we can check out? Thanks very much in advance!

I agree, Spago will deliver. I go there pretty frequently and it never misses. Of course there are many others that you could choose that are at about the same level (Sona, Bastide, Hatfields, Grace, Ortolan, etc etc) each offers something unique but overall Spago is a very relaxing and comfortable way to spend a few hours with cutting edge food. You wont regret it.

My wife and I had Christmas dinner at Spago several years ago. The food -- as always -- was absolutely delicious. They also had a few carolers in Dickens-esq costume -- it was cute, and there were only a few of them so it actually avoided being *too* cheesy. Highly recommend it for a special holiday meal.
