What's the deal with La Guelagueteza?

Who knows what is going on at that location. The parking lot is shared with Trader Joe's, and was jammed as expected before turkey-day. The restaurant is further south towards Palms and has parking that is unattractive to the TJ or Long's crowd. Boy, if I wanted to make a mint there I'd open a nightclub/music/food/drink place centered there with all of that open latenight parking.

I just called and it's still at 11127 Palms Blvd.
The lady said the one on Venice is another owner.
Does anyone know the differences between all the Guelaguetezas?
The one on Palms has no "La"in its name.

None of them have "La" in the name. I find the one on Palms to be far superior to the Venice location. The one on Venice shares ownership with one in Lynwood, along with the Olympic, 8th St and Huntington Park locations.

Sorry, I meant to ask if it is still at Palms and Sepulveda, I sent someone there and they told me it's not there. I've only been to this location, how are the other locations?

They recently opened up another location on Venice Blvd. just east of Centinela on the south side of the street. I don't recall if they we're going to close their Palms location though. Anyone?

The Olympic and 8th St. locations have always seemed stronger to me in terms of the food.
