This seems almost nonexistent in Manhattan. Annie's has it as a rare special. Any ideas?

Grape & Grain on east 6th St serves a very delicious strawberry cream cheese-stuffed french toast at their weekend brunch. They are crispy on the outside w/ some kind of breading (i actually think it might be cornflakes), and thick and moist on the inside. It's also served w/ some fruit, and I recommend a side of bacon with such a sweet dish. I usually have a hard time finishing my breakfast when I get something sweet like french toast, waffles or pancakes, but I finish this one every time.

I've had it at Noho Star, but I don't see it listed on their Menupages.com menu.

You can call and ask if they'll still make it.

The Cupping Room at Broome and West Broadway has it.
