I'm making biscuits to serve at Thanksgiving. What might be some yummy festive butters I can serve with them? Can someone point me in the direction of good herb butters, maple butters and the like?
I was going to make apple butter, but was at TJ's and they didn't have. So I am going to make pumpkin butter. A restaurant nearby takes apple butter along with soften butter, whips them together with a little corn syrup and serves with biscuits.
I'm making an orange maple herb butter for my turkey which leads me to think that a little orange juice and peel and/or maple syrup in butter would be wonderful for biscuits
