I have a friend who gets me great Arabic foods from Dearborn, Mi from time to time, and may I just say that this yogurt is the best stuff in the world! I love strained yogurt, especially Greek yogurt, but labne is something special. It's great eaten with fresh pita in a pool of evoo with lots of fine-ground kosher salt. I usually have it when i visit Lebanese friends. This time, I had him get me three pounds, and I don't think it will last very long! I need to roast some garlic tonight so i can make garlic labne!
