San Antonio - restaurant for lunch downtown

Dallas Alice Nov 20, 2007 10:08 AM

I have a meeting in the office building at 112 E. Pecan in downtown San Antonio. Is there a nice restaurant nearby where I can take a client to lunch? Thanks.

Acenar if weather's good for a great patio. Houston St. Bistro is next to the Majestic Theatre and is pretty good.

I second the Houston Street Bistro, if the weather is nice you can sit outside.

      Sandbar Fish House & Market -- 152 E. Pecan

I haven't been there in almost a year, but when I was there it was excellent. Very fresh, varied menu, from raw bar to crab cakes, etc. Owned by Andrew Weissman, who also owns Le Reve.

But it's not open for lunch, indeed it has very weird hours and seems to open when it wants to.

Thanks for that info. They must just do it when they want to. I know we ate lunch there one Saturday because I remember thinking they would open around 11:00 a.m. and they didn't do so till noon. And now not at all. Too bad.
