Help! Need Cheeseburger in Cobble Hill

h

I live right at the border of Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens and Columbia Waterfront. After many failed attempts, I cannot find a solid place to delivery a good Cheeseburger and fries. Chicory has failed me for the last time, really truly bad. The Cobble Hill Grille was awful and I'm not even the least bit picky, I just want a solid cheeseburger...any suggestions?

I find the best in the neighborhood is from the Pete's Waterfront Ale House, but they do not deliver. Definitely worth the walk if you are up for it. For delivery, I usually rely on Chicory, but that sounds off limits. How about Pit Stop? Their burger is good and I am pretty sure they deliver. Another idea is a triple or quad from Schnack. N.B. Both of these places use their own special condiment.

Agree on Pete's...are you sure they don't deliver? I thought for some reason that they do.

Downtown Atlantic is supposed to have good burgers, though I've never had one. And they definitely deliver.

Ask at Downtown Atlantic if they will deliver to you. They won't deliver to me on Union.

I'm 0 for 2 in getting Pete's to deliver (April and roughly July of this year), so I'm pretty sure they don't.

My wife is a big fan of the cheeseburger at Bar Tabac--the menu says it's only available late night, but if you ask for it, they'll serve it anytime.

It's always been available there at all times on the menu...I've never noticed it being on a late night menu. And yeah, it's a tasty burger. Nothing extraordinary, but solid.

Miriam, on court and Baltic, has a very tasty burger. They include some spices and flavors not usually on a burger.

My favorite is pitstop. Absolutely delicious with this tomato/ mayo relish thing. Don't know about delivery but I think they do.

Tabac is pretty serviceable, though I find the bun oddly large. They don't deliver.

Downtown Atlantic is also decent. I've only had it delivered, and it comes in separate pieces so it doesn't get all sloppy. This does mean you have to assemble it yourself though.

Finally, Pete's is usually pretty awesome. Don't know about delivery.

              Try the Buddy Burger at:

              Buddy's Burrito & Taco Bar
              260 Court St, Brooklyn 11231
              At Butler St

It''s a "Mexican Burger" - they basically put salsa on top and a side of tortilla chips. Good piece of meat, and can be ordered with cheese. Perfect hangover meal. Better eaten in as it tends to get soggy on delivery.

Crave's burger isn't bad. We've ordered it quite a few times, and it has always been pretty good. Sometimes the delivery can take a while though. It's worth trying.

I was holding off on saying this because it's probably not a popular opinion, but when I lived down there, after Salonike or whatever it's called opened up, I used to order their cheeseburger deluxe. I'm sure it's some pre-fab thing but for a diner it was pretty damn good, and they delivered 24 hours. I was on the corner of Wyckoff and Nevins then and would come home at 4am sometimes, and it was nice to get it delivered.
