Jamaican Food

I have been searching for a good Jamaican Restaurant in the Philadelphia area.
Especially one that serves beef and chicken patties.

Does anyone have a recommendation?

I second Jerk Hut. Good patties and Jerk Pork, especially when they get fresh Scotch Bonnets.

In North Philly at Broad and Olney there is a Golden Krust. I think it might be a chain, but I'm not sure. They have beef patties and platters of various other things--curry, oxtail stew, etc. Very good and cheap.

Caribbean Delight in Allentown is very good in my opinion. It serves both Jamacian and Soul Food in a somewhat dicey neighborhood, with absolutely no decor whatsoever, you'll get platters of food (served in those styrofoam takeout containers) that are incredibly tasty and WAY too much for one person to eat for about $8-10, and it's BYOB to boot. The jerk chicken is fantastic and most recently my wife got a platter with two sizeable pieces of fried fish for $12. The sides of mac and cheese, collard greens, peas (beans) are all quite good too. You go into a carbo-comia afterward but it's worth it. A bit of a hike for me from Lansdale, but it's the kind of hole-in-the-wall place that I love. I kno it's authentic too because of all the Jamacian people eating there.

I'm sure the most notable one in Philly is Jamaican Jerk Hut on 15th and South. I usually stick with the jerk chicken when I have a craving, so I can't comment on their other offerings.
