Wise Guys Pizzeria in Orange

vivinator Nov 19, 2007 04:32 PM

7606 E Chapman Ave across from Santiago Canyon College.
had a cheese pizza slice for $3.00. a lot of cheese but pretty good. had a pizza pretzel as well which was great (though I like Auntie Anne's pretzels). In the Irvine/Tustin area First class pizza in/right by Irvine ctr dr in Irvine has a good basil slice but not right out of the oven as it's soggy. Tustin pizza co off newport ave in tustin is decent but no by the slice. have not triecd the sweetza pie there. pascale's in orange has pizza with sweet sauce which I love but it's a sit down place which means i have to tip and for some reason the wait was tremendous. Anyone else been to Wise Guys. oh the owner (i think he was) was Friendly and also I love the name.

I went again yesterday and pretty good. I'm surprised this place hasn't rec'd more reviews. well 2 reviews on yelp at least. I had a practically cheeseless personal pizza with basil and carmelized onions.

No. I only get that far out on Chapman when I need the 241 to go down to Rancho Santa Suburbia.

Luigi's D'Italia, Cortina's and Marri's are my usuals for pizza a bit closer in.

is the pizza joint on el camino in tustin, still around, roma d italila??? that's what i think it was called.

also, das, if you get a chance in Pina's Bistro makes an interewsting pizza only at lunch, but their tiramisu is the real deal, more importantly.
