How to estimate the amount of food needed.
I am having a lunch party of about 30 guests, 20 adults. I am estimating about 1/2 lb of meat per adult person, so a total of between 10 to 15 lbs of meat of several different kinds is that enough? I'll have a pork dish, a chicken dish, and a shrimp (which I am counting as meat) dish.
What about estimating the amount of veggies and a couple of pasta dishes? How is that done?
