Urgent: Takeout in Bathurst & 401ish Area

Doing a small commercial shoot in the area tomorrow and was wondering if I could get any recs on takeout options.

Interested in anything from deli fare to pizza to thai...whatever.

Should you decide to go to Pancer's or Steve's, why not try instead United Dairy in Lawrence Plaza? Fresh and sooo good.

Ditto. My husband loves the fish n' chips there, jewish style. You have to try them to know what I mean by that. Don't go expecting british style. And rib sticking pea soup.

What about Paprika? They have the best Wiener Schnitzel in town in my opinion.

party sandwiches are always a winner....pickle barrel at yorkdale isnt too far.
or you can just pick up a few boxes at What a Bagel on Bathurst, south of the 401.

Thai Plate is decent Thai food. It's on Bathurst, just south of Glencairn, on the West side.

all good suggestions (except for the pizza pizza of course :o) )....steve's restaurant on the west side of bathurst north of wilson does takeout too...good club sandwiches, banquet burgers, salads etc.

Uggh, I find Steve's gross. Can't figure out its popularity. I'd much rather have some fresh Pizza Pizza.

Tov Li, already mentioned, is a damn good bet. Great falafel or pizza (if it is fresh).

Steve's popularity is based on nostalgia in my opinion. Everyone I know who frequents the place could be found hanging out there when they were in high school (20 years ago). No, I'm not one of them!

My dad dragged me there a lot when I was a kid. He liked it. But even as a kid I knew I could do much better, haha.

Steve's Restaurant ? Unless things have changed, it is a greasy spoon (IMO)

Nothing wrong with a greasy spoon. But Steve's isn't even that. It's just bad.

steve's used to be more of a greasy spoon when it was bathurst south of the 401 (and yes, i've been going there for more than 20 years! *yikes*)...i definitely think it was way tastier back then or perhaps i was just way more hungover back then.....there a definitely better diners/restaurants around but the op was looking for any kind of take-out without offering any guidelines as to the quality of the food...hence the pizza pizza post i guess.

yes, hence the pizza pizza post - although to be honest, and with the right instructions, you can get a pretty decent and reliable delivery pizza from them from time to time

You could go to Pancer's for deli, south of the 401 on Bathurst, near Lawrence, on the west side.
If you want some middle eastern food, you can go to Tov Li on Bathurst, a few blocks south of the 401 on the east side.
I think there's a pizza pizza on Wilson, west of Bathurst on the north side.
