Christmas day meal (or Christmas eve)

Does anyone know of any top restaurants that are open on Christmas day for lunch or dinner? Open table's list seems to be limited. Then again, for a long time they had nothing up for Thanksgiving and now they have quite an interesting list. So I thought maybe all the options aren't up yet.

Thanks!

An OpenTable search indicates a substantial list of restaurants open on Christmas Eve. Chanterelle is on it though we've never been. Our favorite Indian restaurant, Devi, is open, as is Keens, our favorite steakhouse.

I don't think any of the really top, top restaurants will be open on Christmas Day.

I had Christmas lunch at Bouley last year. It was fabulous! And it was decorated beautifully. I don't know how early you'd have to call for reservations.

I don't know if you consider Chinese food to be "top restaurants", but we spend Christmas every year in Chinatown at either Ping's or Oriental Garden. We've never been disappointed at either. The atmosphere definitely isn't romantic, it's not really quiet, and you'll need to make a reservation, but if you won't be disappointed in the food!

        Good luck.
