Hotcakes Bakes??
I was driving on Centinela near Washington the other day and saw a sign Hot Cakes Bakes. Seems to me like it was a bakery but that was through the corner of my eye at 40 mph. Does anyone know of this spot?

There have been quite a few posts about it here. If you click on the places link you added, you'll see several of them.
I find their offerings overly sweet, based on what I've tried. The cupcakes are dry and crumbly, cheesecakes far too sugary. The owner is a lovely French lady who takes pride in her French pastries. I haven't tried any of those but the caneles looked good.
