Pecan Pie?

I tried this on the Manhattan board but no luck, so I'll try here...

I've been asked to bring a pecan pie for Thanksgiving, and I won't have time to bake one. Any suggestions for where to find a good one (not too sweet, good crust)? I searched the boards but didn't find much. I was considering Little Pie Company or Blue Smoke, but I haven't tried the pecan pie at either.

My mom's from New Orleans and I can tell a true pecan pie.. I recommend Cake Man Raven's in Brooklyn, but you may have to special order it...they only make them occasionally, mostly at holiday time.

Two Little Red Hens (85th & Second) and Mitchel London Foods (65th between Madison & Fifth) both have great Pecan pies.

Had a good one from Umanoff and Parsons. They supply to some good restaurants (eg. Lugar's) and they have a retail counter.

I always happy with the pecan pies from the greenmarkets which are also usually less expensive than quality bakery pies. The Brooklyn Borough Hall greenmarket is open tomorrow. And of course Union Square on Wednesday. Go early in the day.
