Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in the Greater Los Angeles Area (including Orange & Ventura Counties and SW San Bernardino County)

Nice-ish ethnic restaurant for Monday...

Miracle Mile to Silver Lake preferred. Any type of food is a possibility, we just don't want "American", and would especially appreciate recommendations for Indian. We'd like a nice or interesting ambiance and not too too expensive. Am I asking too much?

  1. If you really want Indian, I'd say your best bet is Paru's.

    Similar but nicer, there's Chameau that has a Moroccan flair and interesting ambience.

      Emme, thanks. Both are great suggestions for another day, another group. Chameau would be perfect but they're not open on Monday's. Also, isn't Paru's vegetarian? We have a couple of carnivores in our party who wouldn't be happy.

        oh yes forgot that.

        bummer on the carnivores.... i personally find it to be the best in the area... you might also think about india grill or gate of india.
