Breakfast near MoMA
I'm looking for a good breakfast place near 5th and 53rd. It looks like there are several hotel restaurants that are more formal than what I want and more pricey. Any ideas between 8th and Lex Aves in the 50s?
TIA

If you are up for going a little further north - Bottega del Vino on 59th just east of 5th is a great place to have a more casual breakfast - they have a website - excellent coffee, pastries, panini.

Before going to MoMA we had breakfast at Europa Cafe (See www.europacafe.com/pressata/servlet/d...) and we liked it so much that we went back for lunch. Very good selection, breakfast for $5 ! Lunch: Customized salads, soups and sandwiches. Inexpensive, fresh and good. Many locations.
