Paula Deen Corn Casserole Question

I'm thinking of making her corn casserole from the Food Network site for a Thanksgiving side dish. If anyone has made it --- is it loose like a pudding or solid like corn bread?
Also, one site mentioned that it was "too much" and recommended using less butter and sour cream. Is that a good idea, or should I figure that it's Thanksgiving and rich is good.

a little inbetween pudding and corn bread - closer to corn bread.

simple and easy, my little sister loves it.

also, to me, it never tastes or feels "done" just go by the time, its fine.

I make this every year from request! It is so yummy and while very rich it is only once a year! :)

Very good, moist!!!!!!! Not pudding, very rich, I use margarine and comes out just as good. I've made it with butter, but the cholesterol police arrested me and I had to change my ways.

I have made this numerous times and it's great. Make it exactly what recipe calls for your first time. I have substituted low fat sour cream for regular sour cream and have cut out half of the butter. It is still very moist. It has the consistency of corn bread and then some.
