Groceries in Christchurch

We'll be heading out of Christchurch in a campervan in a couple weeks. Wondering where the best places are to shop for groceries there?

Look for a New World supermarket. We shopped there a lot during our three-week stay last March. It was one of the first places we'd look for when we arrived in a new city.

If you happen to be in Christchurch on the weekend, the Arts Centre has that food and craft faire. There's a vendor that sells some great cured meats, jerkys, dry salamis that are great for hiking.

      I like New World too!

There are some great Asian specialty Markets in Christchurch also.

This is where I have gone for great Asian ingredients. For a regular supermarket New World works fine . . .
