Hi Calgary foodies,

I desperately need help with finding ideas for food to order in for a week's worth of roundtable-type meetings. I always seem to find myself going with Spolumbo's, but quite frankly I am eager of a change and very open to suggestions. Any thoughts?

I order catering from Tazza for all our meetings. Rustic Sourdough bakery does great sandwich platters. Holy Grill do decent Panini's if you're near the core.

If your office is downtown, you could try ordering Chinese—noodles, fried rice, or separate dishes with white rice—from a restaurant in Chinatown. Or perhaps even Indian, Thai (my suggestion is Rose Garden but I'm not sure if they deliver), or Vietnamese subs (Banh Mi Thi Thi across from Harry Hays).

There is a place in Bridgeland called the Main Dish. It is one of those take-n-bake places where you take the food home and heat it (anything from ribs, to pasta, to porkchops). The other half of their business is pasta bar and a sandwich bar for eating in the store itself.

I'm afraid I don't know if they actually deliver/cater, but I've eaten there a couple of times and it has been excellent each time. It's definitely worth the call to see what they might do for you. Prices were good, and very yummy if I may use such a term.
