Best Pecan Pie for Thanksgiving?

I'm looking to find the best pecan pie to bring to Thanksgiving.

I usually go with the Apple Pan for pecan pie but am curious if there are any superior pecan pies I should know about. For instance, I hear that Ragin Cajun Cafe in Hermosa has great pecan pie... can anyone confirm?

FYI I live in the South Bay so don't want to travel more than an 45 minutes for the pie.

Thanks!

We always get one pumpkin and one pecan pie from Bake and Broil in Long Beach. I don't like pecan pie, but I'm told that theirs is very good. The pumpkin is excellent.

Not 100% pecan, but Trader Joe's just came out w/a pumpkin/pecan/cranberries pie...it's SOOOOO yummy. More like a cake than a pie, tho.

The pecan pie from Aunt Kizzy's Back Porch in Marina Del Rey is very good. Order ahead, as they always sell out.

We are getting our pumpkin pie at the Van Nuy 4 andTwenty this year so I decided to order one of their pecan pies too. Has anyone had one before? Thanks!

hmm... $28 for a large pecan pie... that's kinda pushing it.
