Source for Portuguese chourico and linguica in Pittsburgh?

Does anyone know where I can purchase some Portuguese sausages in the Pittsburgh area? I have checked all of the usual suspects in the Strip with no luck. Thanks.

  1. Have you tried McGinnis Sister's in Monroeville? And Whole Foods?

    1. I've seen linguica at Market District and some other supermarkets, but I couldn't vouch for the quality. I've only eaten it around RI/Cape Cod/Vineyard. You might try calling Cafe Zao or possibly Mallorca to see where they source from or whether they could set some aside for you.

      And there's always Furtado's online.

Mr. Greyhound found some fresh "linguica-style" sausage at Whole Foods, but it didn't pass the Portuguese-boy taste test. So I am off to order some online from Gaspar's. Thanks for the suggestions.
