It is generally available in Minneapolis/St. Paul. I like it but Summit Extra Pale Ale is also available and usually at a slightly lower price point being local.

SNP is fine, I am not as passionate about it as I am about other beers, but it is nice to have available. Like Sam Adams, it is widely distributed and available in places you do not often find better beers. In MSP it is available on tap. I've seen their Celebration Ale around lately as well.

I just scored a couple cases of Celebration here in Des Moines. Give it a try. Much better than the Pale Ale.

I, too, live in the Twins, and have the same opinion. We are so blessed here with good to excellent beer (ok, not like the West Coast, but still...) both on tap and available in our liquor stores, that SNPA ends up with the same dim glow that Sam Adams has. Like Sam, It's OK, but relatively underwhelming compared with all of the other choices available to us.

IF you can find it, SN's IPA is not to be missed. I discovered it in Vegas and it was love at first quaff. Way hoppy up front with a marvelous dry finish.
