Good "real" Chinese food in NE Calgary.
Help!
I am going into the North East Calgary suburbs this evening and would love to know if there is good "real" Chinese food restaurant in the area.
I have tired Singapore Sams on 32 Ave. and it is good for weekend dim sum, and I would love to try some new restaurants in the area.

Forbidden City in the T&T mall has fresh and sometimes innovative dim sum. Its adjoining Hong Kong-style café, Pebble Street, is good for more casual comfort food like hot pots and noodle soups.

Agreed, forbidden City is a one of the better, and pebble street is a good hong kong style cafe, and very similar food as hong kong!
The owner that owns Forbidden City owns the following restaurants:
Forbidden City
Pebble Street
Misai (Japanese restaurant on 32nd ave)
Calgary Court (Hong kong style cafe in china town)
Sun's BBQ (in the Lambda supermarket on centre street)
TPot (at the new T&T in the NW)And i understand that they own a few restaurants in Hong Kong, overall i find the food at his various restaurants close to Hong Kong food.

yes, I tried TPot last week, i think it just opened, and the lunchtime wait for dimsum at 12 pm was brutal (probably because of the fact it just opened). The food was good, the dim sum here is the one where you order off a card and there are no dim sum carts going around.
I can't remember if there is any english on the cards. I thought the dim sum was good, the decor inside is definetly nice. I haven't tried a dinner menu or the cafe that is attached, not sure if the cafe is open yet.
