raider, are you talking about making one up yourself, or a place to buy one?

I read that as some kind of snarky comment.

"A fruit and cheese platter? That's so Westchester! I want a chacuterie plate like they do in more sophisticated regions.

        ;-D

i want a charcuterie platter too, but the other guests don't eat charcuterie.

If it's just to fulfill the assignment (rather than going for more gastronomic options), Costco always has them too. There's a costco in yonkers I believe? And, like the other poster said, I think Stews has them too.

Yes, for the fruit Stew's is a good bet (except it'll be CRAZY there today) and there's always Stop and Shop, which believe it or not, usually has pretty good fruit platters. You should be able to do better for the cheese, though. How about Marshall's in Dobbs Ferry.
